Adult Swim Puts in Series Order for Live-Action Comedy THREE BUSY DEBRAS
Adult Swim has put in an order for the live-action comedy Three Busy Debras. The show will follow, “the surreal day-to-day lives of three deranged housewives, all named Debra, in their affluent suburban town of Lemoncurd, Conn.”
Three Busy Debras is created by, written by, and stars Sandy Honig, Mitra Jouhari, and Alyssa Stonoha as the three Debras.
I could see Three Busy Debras being a decent show, but I can also see it being a flop. I guess time will tell. The show is being executive produced by Honig, Jouhari, Stonoha, as well as Anna Dokoza, Kim Lessing, and Amy Poehler. No premiere date has been announced yet.
