Adventurous New Trailer For Disney+'s WILLOW Highlights The Humor in The Series
Disney+ has released a new trailer and poster for its highly anticipated fantasy series Willow! I’ve been incredibly excited about this show and it’s so cool that after all these years, the story for director Ron Howard’s beloved 1988 movie will continue! This show looks so good!
The story began when an aspiring sorcerer, played by Warwick Davis, “is whisked away on a journey to protect an infant empress Elora Danan and vanquish the evil Queen Bavmorda from their world of Andowyne. Now, the story continues with Davis reprising his titular role, as he leads an unlikely crew of heroes on a quest to protect Andowyne from an even larger foe than they had imagined possible.”
The series also stars Erin Kellyman (Solo: A Star Wars Story, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Ellie Bamber (Nocturnal Animals), Ruby Cruz (Mare of Easttown), Tony Revolori (The Grand Budapest Hotel), Dempsey Bryk (The Birch), Talisa Garcia (Serve and Protect, Baptiste), and Game Of Thrones actress Rosabell Laurenti Sellers. Christian Slater also stars in the series!
Jonathan Kasdan (Solo) wrote the pilot episode and will act as showrunner alongside Wendy Mericle (Arrow). The epic fantasy adventure is set in an age of swords, sorcery, myths, and monsters, and Lucasfilm will release it on Disney+ on November 30th!
