After 15 Seasons SUPERNATURAL Is Coming to an End
I’ve got some sad news for all of you Supernatural fans; the CW series is coming to an end after its fifteenth season! This series had a seriously long and successful run, but it had to come to a close at some point and that time has come.
Series stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins made the announcement in a video posted on Instagram. Ackels said:
“We just told the crew that even though we’re very excited to be moving into our 15th season, it will be our last. 15 years of a show that has certainly changed my life, I know it’s changed these two guys’ lives, and we just wanted you to here from us that though we’re excited about next year, it will be the finale.”
Padalecki added:
“We’ve cried some tears and we’ll cry some more, but we’re grateful and we’re going to work all that emotion into next season.”
I know a lot of fans who are going to be heartbroken by this, but at least there will be 20 new episodes in the final season to enjoy. Hopefully the creative team ends it in a way that will satisfy the fans.
By the time the show ends, there will be over 320 episodes that have aired since it premiered in 2005.
