Alan Tudyk Cast as Mr. Nobody in DC Universe's DOOM PATROL

DC Universe's Doom Patrol just cast it's best actor yet! Alan Tudyk is set to take on the role of Eric Mordon a.k.a. Mr. Nobody in the upcoming live-action series! Here's the information that was revealed for his character in the series:

After exposure to unknown experiments by ex-Nazis in post-war Paraguay, the man formerly known as Eric Morden emerges as a living shadow able to drain the sanity of others as the enigmatic, and totally insane, Mr. Nobody.

Tudyk joins the previously cast Brendan Frasier as Robotman, April Bowlby as Elsti-Woman, Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane, and Joivan Wade as Cyborg. They still have yet to cast the role of Negative Man.

DOOM PATROL is a re-imagining of one of DC’s most beloved group of outcast Super Heroes: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief). The Doom Patrol’s members each suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities—but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found purpose through The Chief, who brought them together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence—and to protect Earth from what they find. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of super-powered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them. Picking up after the events of TITANS, DOOM PATROL will find these reluctant heroes in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore: their lives will never, ever be the same.

Doom Patrol is being written by Jeremy Carver who will executive produce it alongside Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter

The series received a 13-episode straight-to-series order and it will begin production this year for a 2019 premiere on DC Universe.

Doom Patrol is set to premiere on DC Universe in 2019.
