ALAN WAKE REMASTERED Announced

A full remaster of the 2010 classic Alan Wake was announced by Remedy Entertainment. Fans of the original game will be able to play it again in all new 4k visuals.

The remaster will include the original game as well as the two expansions, “The Signal” and “The Writer”, as well as a new commentary from creative director Sam Lake. Lake announced the game with an open letter on The Sudden Stop, a fan run website that has been covering Remedy and Alan Wake since 2012, which is a really cool way to acknowledge your fanbase by announcing directly to them.

For those who need a refresher, Alan Wake is a game about a writer who investigates his wife’s mysterious disappearance. His sanity starts to fray when he finds pages of a horror novel he has no memory of writing and becomes more shattered when events of the book start happening in real life.

It sounds really cool, I haven’t been able to play it but maybe I’ll be able to get a copy of this remaster since it will release on PC on the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4/Pro, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox One S and Xbox One X in Fall 2021. Will you be picking up a copy?
