ALICE IS MISSING is a Silent 1-Session RPG from Renegade Game Studios
Renegade Game Studios has a new RPG that looks really interesting called Alice is Missing available for pre-order. The game comes from Spenser Starke and it sounds awesome. One of the things that makes this game seem so interesting is that it’s supposed to be played silently. This is a stark contrast from most RPGs where players and the GM are constantly talking. This game is also interesting since it’s not about creating a long campaign. Instead, you should be able to play a game in one session that lasts 2-3 hours. The first 45-ish minutes are for all the players (there’s no official GM) to create their characters and then the rest of the time is to look for Alice. Oh, and all the talking is designed to happen via text message. What!? This sounds like such an interesting game.
Alice is Missing is a silent role playing game about the disappearance of Alice Briarwood, a high school junior in the sleepy Northern California town of Silent Falls. During the game, players use their phones to send text messages to each other as they unearth clues about what happened to Alice.
Alice is Missing will be available in December, but you can pre-order your copy now from your local game store or through Renegade’s store.
