ALICE IS MISSING: SILENT FALLS Expansion Has Hit Kickstarter

Alice is Missing from Hunters Books and Renegade Game Studios is a silent tabletop RPG that has won the gold ENnie Award for Best Game, Best Rules, and Product of the Year during the 2021 ENnie Awards. The game is played via text messages and uses cards to prompt the events of the game. Players take on the roles of people connected to Alice Briarwood, a teenage girl from the sleepy California town of Silent Falls who has gone missing. Players investigate to learn more about her life, relationships, and each other. It’s a really great game that plays on a timer and is definitely a really emotional experience, I highly recommend it. The expansion has come to Kickstarter and is already funded.

The Silent Falls expansion offers new cards that include 4 new playable characters, 3 new suspects, 3 new locations, 22 new clues, and 2 relationship cards with a total of 12 new prompts to help deepen your connection to the other characters. You’ll be able to explore the Caloma Caves and confront new suspects such as Alice’s distant father and discover new conclusions to the story and new 10 minute clue cards. The expansion introduces a total of 38 new cards which is more than half the cards from the original game. New clue cards include ones for standard time stamps and 3 new 10 minute timestamp cards and a replacement 90 minute card. 

You can also get the exclusive Kickstarter Keepsake experience. This offers unique memorabilia that will help players enter Alice’s world. There are various tier levels that will determine how many items you get, but this will definitely make your game even more memorable. I love a good prop for a game and it seems the team behind the expansion agrees. 

I can’t really recommend this game enough and if you are already a fan then definitely go get this expansion. The Kickstarter will last until March 15, 2023 with the rewards starting at $10 for the PDF copy of the expansion.
