ALIEN: EARTH Star Sydney Chandler Wants Wendy to Face Predator in Future Crossover

The worlds of Alien and Predator have collided before, but one of the stars of the upcoming series Alien: Earth would love to see that rivalry return in a brand-new way.

Sydney Chandler, who plays Wendy in the FX sci-fi horror series, recently shared that she would be excited to see her character face off against the legendary extraterrestrial hunter from the Predator franchise.

While speaking with MovieWeb, Chandler explained that the idea of Wendy taking on one of cinema’s most dangerous alien warriors sounds like a challenge she would gladly accept.

“I don’t know…I mean, we’d have to try. I think she would believe she could, absolutely, but I think she’s still figuring out her strengths, and that’s the beauty of it. Kids are so brave.

“They don’t think of consequences, and that is a superpower, and that can also be a weakness, so I mean, that would be really fun to see. I’d love to play that, but I don’t know.”

Even though nothing official has been announced about a crossover between Alien: Earth and the Predator universe, the idea fits naturally with the long history between the two franchises. Fans have already seen the creatures collide in films like Alien vs. Predator, so the thought of bringing that rivalry into a television series has obvious appeal.

Wendy herself is already a unique character within the Alien universe. As the first hybrid in the story, she exists somewhere between humanity and something far more mysterious.

Chandler seems eager to explore how that identity evolves in future episodes, especially after the emotional changes her character went through in the first season.

“I think there’s so many ways for her to grow and change, and we really watched her go from innocence to more — her eyes are open, and she’s accepted the machine. She’s gotten colder, and so I’d like to warm her up again and see where that takes her, after your innocence is lost.”

That transformation could open the door for some fascinating story possibilities. Chandler also hinted that Wendy’s unusual existence creates an opportunity to explore how she relates to the creatures around her.

The 30-year-old actress went on to explain that she would like Wendy to play “more with the equality and differences of the creatures, because she is the only one of her kind, and she is alien in her own form, and so there’s a really interesting space there to experience that and maybe play with the fear involved or the danger involved, because they’re equal.”

If a crossover ever happened, Wendy’s hybrid nature could place her in a strange position between the deadly Xenomorphs and the technologically advanced Predator hunters. That dynamic would make for an interesting addition to the long-running rivalry between the two species.

For now, fans will have to wait and see where the story goes next. FX has already renewed Alien: Earth for a second season, with production expected to begin filming in May 2026.

I’m not sure we’ll see a Predator show up in the series, but Chandler clearly likes the idea of throwing Wendy into that kind of intergalactic showdown.
