Alison Brie Thinks Aliens Are Abducting Her in the Strange Trailer for HORSE GIRL

Netflix has released the first trailer for Alison Brie‘s dark and strange upcoming film Horse Girl. In the story, Brie plays a socially awkward character who starts to go crazy after she thinks she is being abducted by aliens.

Brie wrote the script with the director for the film Jeff Baena (The Little Hours), and it certainly looks like an interesting and weird psychological thriller. Here is the synopsis for Horse Girl:

Sarah (Alison Brie), a socially isolated arts and crafts store employee, finds herself more content in the company of horses and supernatural crime shows than people. But when a series of strangely surreal dreams upend the simplicity of her waking life, Sarah struggles to distinguish her visions from reality. Directed by Jeff Baena, Horse Girl is a darkly humorous psychological thriller about a woman’s search for the truth, however abstract it may be.

The film is set to debut at Sundance this month, and it also stars Debby Ryan, John Reynolds, Molly Shannon, John Ortiz, Paul Reiser, and Jay Duplass.

Horse Girl will hit select theaters and Netflix on February 7, 2020. Check out the trailer and let us know if you plan on watching the film when it’s released.
