The gorgeous art you see before you was in the artist's words, "a quick drawing that I did in the afternoon." Why can't my quick drawings look like this? Its a bit of a bummer, as all I can put together are various minion drawings, and for those I just end up tracing the promo art from the front of a mini corn dogs box.
Okay, so my jealousy should not be the focus of this post. Instead, let's focus on the superb drawing of the new Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan, done by pro Jeremy Roberts, otherwise known as JPRart on his Deviant Art account. The pose is classic and strong, and I love his bold use of color. This piece is probably one of my favorite renderings of Kamala and her new costume, which I'm slowly starting to love.
