Last week, Netflix released the first teaser trailer for Stranger Things 4 and it got fans excited about the next chapter of the story. The trailer introduces us to a new and creepy location called the Creel House.

The Creel House is the home of a new character named Victor Creel, played by Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street). Creel has been imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital since his family was violently murdered in the 1950s, which Creel blamed on a vengeful demon. That demon most likely came from the Upside Down.

We have a video for you to watch today that points out all of the Easter eggs and references in the trailer that was released. For example, the trailer features a flashback set in 1959 and then cuts to 1986, which is the year the story takes place. That’s a 27 year gap, which is the same time gap between the time period in Steven King’s IT.

The video comes from ScreenCrush, who shared the following note:

Stranger Things 4 has just brought us into the Creel House, a creepy riff on the Shining that sets the stage for the main theme of Season 4: Time. The trailer hops and back and forth through time, revealing a haunted house in the past and present day. Clocks appear throughout the trailer, and there is an underscoring of ticking. This, obviously, means time travel, right? We explain how, right here.

Check out the video and let us know what you think!
