All The Badass MAD MAX: FURY ROAD Cars Are Going Up For Auction!
Oh! What a lovely day! For those of you looking for a new car, now is your chance to buy one of the actual crazy awesome cars that were used in George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road. These are the cars that weren’t destroyed in any fiery explosions while they were making the movie.
Of course, while I was watching the monstrous badass cars in this film racing through the desert wasteland, I was thinking about how awesome it would be to drive one around and I’m sure many of you had the same thoughts! Well, if you’ve got the money, you could be living that dream!
Lloyd's Auctions is the auctioneering and valuation company from Australia that is handling everything and you can check out the full list of vehicles that are up for auction, right here. The site provides photos of each of the cars and each one comes along with a full description, which are actually pretty fun to read.
The one for the Pontiac Surfari with 20’ Pole Counterweight reads:
A 1956 Pontiac Custom Safari 2-door wagon stripped and chop-topped to accommodate a 20’ pole welded to a V8 engine block as counterweight for aerial gymnastics… Cirque du soleil, wasteland style: rape and pillage from on high by Gastown elite Warboys, boarding parties rained on victim vehicles at high speed from this steel surfboard-toting, beaten metal monster.
