Alligator Loki Gets His Own Comic Book Spinoff Series
Last week, Marvel Comics launched the first issue of a new spinoff series that follows the adventures of Alligator Loki, who made his debut in Marvel Studios’ Loki series. The comic is titled Alligator Loki and it’s a 12-part story that will be available through the Infinity Comics format, and it will be released exclusively on Marvel's Marvel Unlimited app.
The first issue of the series, which is available now, is "Family Bonding", and it follows Alligator Loki and Thor as they get to know one another at an Asgardian amusement park. This looks like a really weird and good time!
Alligator Loki is definitely an interesting version of Loki and I’m sure Marvel is going to have fun playing with him a little more in the comics. Here’s the description of the new comic series:
“For his entire life Thor has only known one brother, Loki. Known to all as conniving, sneaky, and cunning! But a new Loki is ready to take his place. He may be smaller, he may be cuter, and... an alligator?! But don't be deceived, Alligator Loki has all the same attributes as his human counterpart and is ready to get into some trouble!"
The series is written by Alyssa Wong, with art by Robert Quinn and colors by Pete Pantazis. Check out some preview art below:
