Alligators Attack in First Wicked-Fun Trailer for the Sam Raimi-Produced Thriller CRAWL
Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer for the new Sam Raimi-produced horror thriller Crawl and it looks like it’s going to be a wicked-fun and crazy-ass movie!
The story centers around a father and daughter who are trapped in a house during a major hurricane and at the same time are being attacked by alligators. The premise of the film may sound a little silly, but the movie actually looks really good!
Crawl was directed by Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes, High Tension, Piranha 3D), and it stars Barry Pepper and Kaya Scodelario. I love Barry Pepper, so it’s great to see him in a fun new film project like this. Here’s the synopsis:
When a massive hurricane hits her Florida hometown, Haley (Kaya Scodelario) ignores evacuation orders to search for her missing father (Barry Pepper). Finding him gravely injured in the crawl space of their family home, the two become trapped by quickly encroaching floodwaters. As time runs out to escape the strengthening storm, Haley and her father discover that the rising water level is the least of their fears.
The nail-biting horror thriller hits theaters on July 12th, 2019.
