Allison Janney in Talks to Join Hugh Jackman in BAD EDUCATION
Bad Education is an upcoming film project from screenwriter Mike Makowsky and director Cory Finley. Hugh Jackman has reportedly joined the project as a superintendent who wants to better the school district he works for while embezzling public funds so that he can live the life he wants. Deadline is now reporting that Allison Janney is in talks to join the project as “the school district business manager who is in on the scheme and enjoying the same living large lifestyle while helping him (and her) to cover their tracks.”
The story is based on Makowsky’s high school experience and sounds like it could be quite interesting. Janney and Jackman are both very talented actors, so I’m very interested in learning more about this film. Fred Berger, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Eddie Vaisman, Julia Lebedev, and Oren Moverman are set to produce the film through Automatik and Sight Unseen production companies.
