Allison Williams is Revealed to be in Seasons 2 & 3 of A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS
Allison Williams, who has starred in Get Out and Girls, has been revealed to have a role in the last two seasons of Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. We don’t know what role she will be playing, but with less than two weeks until the second season launches, it won’t be long until we do. The reveal happened via Twitter as a lot of things do these days with this nice little tweet welcoming Williams to the show:
Williams is joining a list of new cast members that include Nathan Fillion, Lucy Punch, Tony Hale, and more. Of course, Neil Patrick Harris will return as the villainous Count Olaf with Patrick Warburton as Lemony Snicket and Malina Weissman, Louis Hynes, and Presley Smith (Tara Strong is the voice of Smith’s character Sunny) returning as the Baudelaire orphans. The Netflix series is an adaptation of the popular books by Snicket and has this summary:
“After the loss of their parents in a mysterious fire, the three Baudelaire children face trials and tribulations attempting to uncover dark family secrets.”
Season one covered the first four books in the series with two episodes each. It is expected that the second season will cover books five through nine and then the third and final season will be books ten through thirteen. I have really enjoyed the first season and recommend it. You have just under two weeks to watch 8 episodes. You can do it!
Season 2 of A Series of Unfortunate Events premieres on Netflix on March 30, 2018.
