Allison Williams Reteaming With GET OUT Producer Blumhouse for Horror Thriller M3GAN

Allison Williams is known for her role as the creepy girlfriend in Get Out, and she is now reteaming with Blumhouse to bring the horror thriller M3GAN to the big screen. Williams will star in the film, as well as executive produce.

Deadline reports the following rundown:

In the film, Williams plays Gemma, a brilliant roboticist at a toy company. She uses artificial intelligence to develop M3GAN, a life-like doll programmed to be a kid’s greatest companion and a parent’s greatest ally. After unexpectedly gaining custody of her orphaned niece, Gemma enlists the help of the M3GAN prototype – a decision that has unimaginable consequences.

Gerard Johnstone (Housebound) is set to direct the film from a script written by Akela Cooper (Malignant, The Nun 2, Luke Cage), based on a story by Aquaman, Insidious, and The Conjuring writer James Wan. Jason Blum and Wan are producing the thriller.
