Alternate Character Designs For April O'Neil in TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: MUTANT MAYHEM
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is pretty much a whole new reimagining of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, and with that came a very cool and wild art style and character designs. One of the characters that got a complete overhaul was April O'Neil, who was voiced by The Bear's Ayo Edebiri.
For the most part, fans seem to enjoy this new version of the character and the new look that she’s sporting. The character was created by artist James A. Castillo, who took to Twitter to share some alternate designs of April. Those images came with the following note:
"THE NEW TMNT FILM IS OUT! #TMNTMovie When I joined #MutantMayhem my first assigment was to work on April O'Neil. NO PRESSURE. We tried making her relatable and grounded in the real world while keeping some of the details that make her so iconic. I personally love her in the film."
