Alternate Character Designs For Red Skull and Captain Marvel For INFINITY WAR and ENDGAME
I’ve got some cool concept art to share with you today featuring alternate character designs for Red Skull in Avengers: Infinity War and Captain Marvel in Avengers: Endgame.
The Red Skull art comes from concept artist Rodney Fuentebella and it’s a very different take on the character, and I dig it! In the end, the more mysterious and ominous look of the character used in the film worked better for the story. The artist shared the following note:
"Here is a take on Red Skull for Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. This is an initial concept of Red Skull or Soul Keeper as someone who has maybe met with various people in space and taking on their varied clothings. Stay safe."
The Captain Marvel art comes from Marvel artist Andy Park, who says “Recognize this version’s inspiration? This is another design version I did of Captain Marvel for her new look in Avengers: Endgame.” The blue and red color scheme was reversed in this art,, and Danvers is also wearing her red sash from the comics around her neck.
