Alternate Millennium Falcon Designs For SOLO Have Surfaced Featuring Some Hot Rod Styles
One of the many cool things that Solo: A Star Wars Story gave us was an early version of the Millennium Falcon, which is the most iconic ship in the Star Wars franchise. The Lucasfilm art department went through a ton of different designs before the creative team settled on what we ended up seeing in the film.
Some of the early alternate designs they came up with are completely bizarre and the artists were obviously having some fun playing with the possibilities. There are a lot of big differences in these designs, there are even some with Hot Rod-style flames on it and one with Thunderbird hood art! Those are the least crazy designs, though!
Check out several of the concept designs below and let us know what your favorites are. Personally, I liked what they ended up using in the movie as it was inspired by Ralph McQuarrie's original design. I'm not sure how a couple of these designs would have worked.
