Alyson Hannigan and More Join The Live-Action KIM POSSIBLE Movie Cast

I loved watching Kim Possible when it came out. The characters were a lot of fun and the adventures they went on were very entertaining. I’ve been interested to see the live-action film that is being made and I hope it doesn’t suck.

We’ve already heard that Sadie Stanley will play Kim Possible and Sean Giambrone will be Ron Stoppable. I imagine they are going to create a CGI Rufus that will look like the stuff of nightmares instead of the cute naked mole rat that he is in the cartoon. We’ve been given a bit more casting information though, so here’s who else will be popping up.

Alyson Hannigan from How I Met Your Mother and Buffy the Vampire Slayer will play Kim’s brain surgeon mother, Dr. Ann Possible. Her mother will be played by The Big C’s Connie Ray. The evil Dr. Drakken will be Todd Stashwick from 12 Monkeys and Gotham. His sidekick, Shego, will be played by newcomer Taylor Ortega. Meanwhile, Kim’s rival Bonnie will be played by Make It Pop’s Erika Tham. The final announcement was for a new girl at Kim’s school, Athena, who will be played by Ciara Wilson from Bisaardvark.

We still need casting for Kim’s twin brothers Jim and Tim as well as her rocket scientist father Dr. James Possible. Who would you like to see in these roles and should they get Patrick Warburton to return as Mr. Barkin?

Kim Possible is set to premiere some time in 2019.
