AMARUNE'S ALMANAC: FORESTS OF THE REALMS Is a Fantastic First Volume in a New Series of Unofficial D&D Books

A group of Dungeons & Dragons creators have come together to bring DMs and players a new unofficial tool. Amarune’s Almanac: Forests of the Realms is the first volume in a new series that will explore the different biomes of the Forgotten Realms. Inside you’ll find a new subclass for the Druid and the Ranger as well as new spells and optional rules based on biomes. You’ll also find lore and historical information regarding different forests, creatures, and even magical items.

Forests of the Realms gives an overview of Faerûn’s various forests and their flora, fauna, and some history. It does this through both narrative prose, written from the perspective of Amarune Whitewave (the great, great granddaughter of Elminster Aumar), and through occasional notes from her husband, editor, and traveling companion Arclath Delcastle.

Forests of the Realms is available from DriveThru RPG or DMs Guild for $9.95 and is fantastic. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for future volumes. The full list of authors includes Steve Fidler, Ashley May, BornToDoStuff, Israel Moreira, Jean-Luc Caron, Ryan Langr, Sean vas Terra, and Trevor Armstrong.
