Amazon Is Picking Up Micheal B. Jordan's WITHOUT REMORSE From Paramount Pictures
Amazon Studios is in final negotiations to buy the worldwide rights to Michael B. Jordan’s action thriller, Without Remorse.
The film centers around the Tom Clancy U.S. Navy SEAL character John Clark. Jordan will take on the lead role, and he goes on a mission to avenge his wife's murder only to find himself inside of a larger conspiracy.
I’m sure you all know who John Clark is, but just in case he’s the CIA operative who worked alongside Jack Ryan in Clancy’s novels and films. The character was previously played by Willem Dafoe in Clear and Present Danger and Liev Schreiber in The Sum of All Fears.
Without Remorse is directed by Stefano Sollima (ZeroZeroZero), and it co-stars Jamie Bell, Jodie Turner-Smith and Luke Mitchell. The script for the film came from Taylor Sheridan (Hell or High Water, Yellowstone) with Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind) writing the most recent draft.
It makes sense for the movie to land at Amazon due to the fact that they are also producing Clancy's Jack Ryan series.
Without remorse was originally supposed to be released by Paramount on February 26th, 2021, but that’s all going to change with Amazon coming in to distribute it.
