Amazon Orders a New Sci-Fi Series From The Creator of HUNTERS, David Weil
Amazon Studios has ordered another series from David Weil, the creator, executive producer, and co-showrunner of the hit Nazi-hunting drama series Hunters.
The untitled project is a sci-fi series that has been in the works for a while and it’s “described as a dramatic and thought-provoking anthology series that explores the deeper meaning of human connection in the near future.”
It’s explained that the story will follow seven unique character-driven stories. “Each character will set off on a thrilling adventure in an uncertain future and they’ll come to reckon that even during our most isolated moments, we are all connected through the human experience.”
I liked what Weil did with Hunters. That was a thrilling, brutal, and wild series that I enjoyed watching. I’m looking forward to learning more about his next show and the thrilling adventures that it plans to take audiences on. I imagine that like Hunters, this new show will have solid production value and consist of a great team of talent.
The series is expected to premiere on Prime Video in 2021.
