Amazon Reveals Their Best Selling Video Games
At the end of 2020, Amazon shared their list of best sellers across various departments including video games. While it shouldn’t be shocking to learn the best sellers were gift cards, I thought I’d share the top 10 selling games on Amazon. Considering only one game in the top ten was digital, I decided to discount it in my list, but Nintendeal over on Twitter did include it if you want a slightly more accurate list.

Super Mario 3D All-Stars (Switch)
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Switch)
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Switch)
Cyberpunk 2077 (PS4)
Ring Fit Adventure (Switch)
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity (Switch)
The Last of Us Part II (PS4)
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch)
Just Dance 2021 (Switch)
So, what can I gather from this? Nintendo Switch owners are seemingly most likely to buy physical media. Also, all those people who bought Switches and Switch Lites when the pandemic started to play ACNH are now branching out to other staple games. I’m really surprised that even looking past the top 10 that Nintendo Switch games make up the majority of titles on the list.
