Amazon Studios is Trying to Partner with Major Hollywood Studios To Make Movies

It looks like Amazon Studios is trying to get more people to use their streaming service. Deadline reports that Amazon is attempting to get major studios like Paramount and Sony to make films for their streaming service. This would not be too different from Netflix getting Paramount to make The Cloverfield Paradox.

While getting more original content is always a great move, I feel like it doesn’t help Amazon. Amazon’s streaming service is not the best in my opinion and the content isn’t the problem. Like all other streaming services, Amazon has some great content available and some rubbish content available. However, the interface is always garbage which makes me almost never use it even though I have Prime. I would rather hear that Amazon is working on improving their interface than making more content.

Are you excited about the prospect of Amazon teaming up with a major studio? Would that get you to use the service?
