AMC Developing Series STAY TUNED Based on the Cult Classic 1992 Film

AMC is teaming up with Fear the Walking Dead writers and producers Ian Goldberg and Richard Naing to create a new series based on the cult classic 90s film Stay Tuned.

The movie starred John Ritter and Pam Dawber, who played married couple Roy and Helen Knable, “who were unwittingly transported into their television and forced to survive an alternate universe inside ‘Hellvision.'” Goldberg and Naing will write the series.

I don’t quite remember this movie, but the trailer actually looks hilarious. It will be fun to see what they come up with in the TV version. Check out the original movie trailer below, and let us know if you’re interested in this show.
