AMC Set to Air New Talkshow FRIDAY NIGHT IN WITH THE MORGANS with Jeffrey Dean Morgan
AMC is bringing us some new content this week, in the form of a socially distant talk show called Friday Night In With The Morgans. The show stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, star of AMC’s The Walking Dead, and his wife, actress Hilarie Burton (One Tree Hill, Council of Dads), at their hundred-acre farm in upstate New York.
Variety reports the following description for the series:
The half-hour show will feature the two connecting via video streaming sessions with famous friends and other guests for conversations about life in the time of social distancing. There will be a strong focus on feel-good stories and efforts to find joy and humor in unprecedented times.
The Morgans also made a statement:
“We have been a part of the AMC family for a long time and are honored to create this comforting space with them,” said Morgan and Burton Morgan. “From our home here at Mischief Farm, we look forward to shining a light on those who are doing good in the world, catching up with old friends and connecting with the awesome fan base we’ve gotten to know over the years.”
It’s been great to see all the positive content in the last few weeks. Like Some Good News, John Krasinski’s YouTube series, and even Saturday Night Live’s show from the homes of the stars. It’s been great to see how our favorite actors and comedians have come together to give us new, positive content in these strange, unprecedented times.
