AMERICAN HORROR STORY is Coming to Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights

I look forward to going to Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights ever year. It’s one of my favorite things to do during the Halloween season. They almost always go all out and give fans some pretty awesome mazes.

Universal Studios has announced that they will be bringing FX’s American Horror Story to the event this year at both the Hollywood and Orlando resort locations. Here are the details that have been released about the maze so far:

Guests will experience three chapters of the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning series in frightening mazes. Installment 1’s Murder House will unleash the evil spirits that possess the Harmon estate, spiraling guests through decades of the tortured dead who previously resided there. In Freak Show from Installment 4, guests will join a troupe of biological misfits in a sinister sideshow where they’ll be stalked by the murderous and deformed Twisty the Clown. Finally, guests will succumb to the warped desires of The Countess after checking in to the haunted Hotel Cortez from Installment 5, conceived from the beginning as a torture chamber for its customers.

Sounds like it will make for a great and creepy experience. Greg Lombardo, SVP of Global Live and Location Based Entertainment, 20th Century Fox Consumer Products, had this to say in a statement:

“20th Century Fox Consumer Products is thrilled to team once again with Universal Studios to premiere visionary Ryan Murphy’s groundbreaking series, ‘American Horror Story’ through an all-new Halloween Horror Night maze. The attraction – which showcases multiple chapters from the acclaimed FX anthology – offers a chilling live-action thrill and simultaneously complements the series highly anticipated premiere on September 14th.”

Halloween Horror Nights launches on Friday, September 16th.
