Amusing Abridged Version of AKIRA with the Two Main Characters Yelling Tetsuo! and Kaneda! at Each Other
This abridged version of the classic anime film Akira that you’re going to watch was released back in 2016, but I just saw it for the first time and it made me laugh. So, I thought I’d share it because maybe there are some of you that may have missed it as well.
Anyway, the abridged video is basically a supercut of the two main characters yelling Tetsuo! and Kaneda! at each other.
A study of Akira, the groundbreaking anime by Katsuhiro Otomo, as told through Tetsuo and Kaneda saying each other's names. Someone who has not seen the film won't get it, but to those of us who have seen it (over and over and over), just this captures the entire emotional arc of the film.
I always thought it was funny how they’re always yelling each other’s names all throughout the movie and seeing it all cut together in this supercut is pretty funny.
