Amusing Clip From The GALAXY QUEST Documentary NEVER SURRENDER
If you’re a fan of the 1999 Star Trek-inspired film Galaxy Quest, there’s a documentary coming out later this month that you’re going to want to see. It’s called Never Surrender and it going to explore the making of the film and how it’s blown up over the years into a fan favorite film.
We’ve got a brief clip from the movie to share with you today that gives us a little taste of the stories that we can expect to hear in the doc. Here we see a few of the actors from the film discuss how they shot the scene involving the NSEA Protector ship flying out of the dock when it scapes the side of the docking bay. It’s a hilarious scene!

As the cult classic nears its 20th anniversary – premiering on December 25th, 1999 – Never Surrender: A Galaxy Quest Documentary explores how the science-fiction comedy became an enduring fan favorite, a movie that helped launch the sci-fi- and fantasy-driven movie and TV industry that dominates global entertainment today.
The doc features the stars and creators of Galaxy Quest, as well as a host of pop-culture commentators, reflecting on the greatness of this film. Some of the people appearing in the doc include Sigourney Weaver, Tim Allen, Sam Rockwell, Justin Long, Tony Shalhoub, Rainn Wilson, Enrico Colantoni, Missi Pyle, Daryl "Chill" Mitchell, director Dean Parisot, Wil Wheaton and Brent Spiner.
