Amusing New Promo Spot For Jordan Peele's NOPE Featuring Steph Curry

Over the weekend a new promo spot dropped for Jordan Peele’s upcoming sci-fi horror thriller Nope. The promo ties in with basketball and it features NBA star Steph Curry. The upcoming film seems to involve UFOs and aliens terrorizing a small town in California.

The story centers on Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer’s characters, and the film is set at a horse training ranch that they run for Hollywood productions. Steven Yeun also stars in the film as a rodeo ringleader, and it’s said that the story focuses on “residents in a lonely gulch of inland California who bear witness to an uncanny and chilling discovery.”

In the trailer, Curry is playing basketball in the small town, when all of a sudden the lights go out. He goes outside to see what’s going on and looks up in the sky and he has a perfect and amusing reaction to the terrifying situation.

The movie co-stars Michael Wincott (Hitchcock, Westworld) and Brandon Perea (The OA, American Insurrection). The film will be released by Universal Pictures worldwide. Nope will suck you into theaters on July 22nd.
