Amy Poehler Teams with Mike and Julie Scully for Animated Series DUNCANVILLE

Amy Poehler’s films tend to be hit or miss for me, but her TV shows tend to be winners. Now, she’s teamed up with Mike Scully and Julie Scully from The Simpsons to bring us a 13-episode animated series called Duncanville.

The show has been picked up by Fox and will air in the 2019-2020 season. What’s more is that Rashida Jones will also be in the voice cast. Yay for a mini Parks and Recreation reunion! Wiz Khalifa will also be part of that cast.

Poehler will voice both the 15-year-old Duncan and his mother. No word has been given for who Jones and Khalifa will be playing.

In addition to voicing, Poehler will serve as an executive producer along with Mike and Julie who are serving as writers. I’m excited to see where Duncanville goes. I would especially love it if somehow the rest of the Parks and Recreation gang made cameos in an episode.
