An Aging Stop-Motion Animated Skeleton Struggles to Find Acting Work in Brilliant Short Film REBOOTED
I’ve got an incredibly fantastic short film that you’ve got to watch titled Rebooted! It’s a beautifully made film that actually tells a wonderfully heartwarming and inspiring story that movie fans are sure to fall in love with.
The story centers on an aging stop-motion animated skeleton that used to be a big movie star. But in today’s modern-day and age, the skeleton finds himself struggling to find acting work.
The movie is obviously paying tribute to the work of Ray Harryhausen, and it brings back wonderful memories of watch Clash of the Titans and Jason and the Argonauts when I was a kid. I miss that old stop-motion effects work!
Here’s the brief description of the story:
It’s not easy for a movie-star to age - especially when you’re a stop motion animated skeleton monster. Phil, once a terrifying villain of the silver-screen, struggles to find work in modern Hollywood due to being an out-of-date special effect.
Now, sit down, relax, and enjoy the show! I hope you enjoy it just as much as I did. The film was written and directed by Michael Shanks.
