An ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE Sequel is In The Works

Rovio Entertainment, the creators of Angry Birds, have confirmed they are working on a follow up to The Angry Birds Movie. The news comes from The Wall Street Journal, who got the news about the sequel from Rovio Chief Executive Kati Levoranta. 

In the 3D animated comedy, The Angry Birds Movie, we'll finally find out why the birds are so angry. The movie takes us to an island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds - or almost entirely.

While a critical failure, the movie grossed $346 million worldwide, making it the second largest grossing video game movie of all time. No word as to whether any of the cast will re-lend their voices to the film, but if I had to guess, I would say they aren't going to say no to heaps of money.
