An AVENGERS: ENDGAME Magazine Seems To Hint at The Inclusion of an Unexpected Major Marvel Character
As we all wait to watch Avengers: Endgame in theaters, a new special edition magazine that is focusing on the film is being released by Birth Movies Death. This magazine seems to hint at a major surprise character making an unexpected MCU debut.
There are a few pages from the magazine that you can see online and as you scroll through them, there’s one image that sticks out. One that you can’t help but wonder, “why did they include that!?” Before I go on and tell you what it is, even though this may be nothing, I still want to throw up a spoiler warning:
The image featured in the magazine includes art depicting the cocoon that houses Adam Warlock, and it comes with the caption, “The Golden Child.” You can see that image here.
I’m sure that you’ll all remember this cocoon popped up and the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Its inclusion in the Endgame magazine has some fans wondering if Adam Warlock could appear in the next Avengers: Endgame.
Now, in the Marvel Comics universe Adam Warlock is essential to the story of the Infinity Stones. He has been the character responsible for looking over the Soul Stone and he also led the Marvel heroes against Thanos during The Infinity Gauntlet story arc.
I would be floored if Adam Warlock shows up in the film! But, directors Joe and Anthony Russo and have said that Adam Warlock is “not showing up in our stories." But even if the character was, it’s not like they are going to reveal that huge plot point!
I know a lot of Marvel fans have been hoping to see Adam Warlock show up in this movie because of his role in the comic books, but we’ll just have to wait and see if this image was just placed in the magazine to get fans to start speculating, or if it actually has something to do with the movie.
But fans shouldn’t get their hopes up about seeing Warlock in Avengers: Endgame. The film is the conclusion of Marvel Studios’ Infinity Saga, and as such, the magazine is in part a retrospective on the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe up until now. That’s the more probable reason for the cocoon appearing in the magazine.
Do you think Adam Warlock will show up in Avengers: Endgame?
Avengers: Endgame opens in theaters April 26th.
