Ana de Armas in Talks to Star in JOHN WICK Spinoff Movie BALLERINA
Ana de Armas has starred is several great films over the past few years, including Blade Runner 2049, Knives Out, and No Time to Die. Now the actress is in talks to join another great franchise with the John Wick spinoff film, Ballerina.
If this casting works out, de Armas will take on the lead role in the anticipated film about a young female assassin who seeks revenge against the people who killed her family. The character made a fleeting appearance in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum as a ballerina who is also training to be an assassin.
Len Wiseman (Underworld) is aboard to direct the action-thriller from a script written by Shay Hatten, known for Zack Snyder’s Army Of The Dead and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.
This is another exciting film choice for the actress, who can next be seen in her three films debuting next year, which include the thriller Deep Water opposite Ben Affleck; the action thriller The Gray Man with Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling; and the Marilyn Monroe biopic Blonde, in which she will play Norma Jeane herself, opposite Adrien Brody and Bobby Cannavale.
