Andrew Garfield Joins Lin-Manuel Miranda's Adaptation of TICK, TICK... BOOM! at Netflix

Andrew Garfield, known for his roles in The Social Network, The Amazing Spider-Man movies, and Hacksaw Ridge, has signed on to star in the upcoming stage to screen adaptation of Tick, Tick… Boom! by the late playwright Jonathan Larson, who also wrote the award-winning Broadway show Rent. Tick, Tick… Boom is Larson’s autobiography that follows an aspiring composer in New York City who is starting to doubt his career choice.

Lin-Manuel Miranda is taking on the role of director of the film, and the screenplay is being adapted by Steven Levenson. Miranda is currently working on producing and co-starring in the stage to film adaptation In The Heights.
