Andrew Garfield Reacts to Video From Finding Out He Was Cast as THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN
Two-time Academy Award nominee Andrew Garfield has played plenty of incredible roles thus far in his career, but he may forever be known by some fans as one of the best in the trio of Spider-Man actors of our time.
The actor played Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and its sequel (2014), and despite his third film not working out, he returned to the role in Marvel’s Spider-Man: No Way Home alongside Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland. But back in 2010, Garfield was just a guy in his 20s who was hoping for a shot at playing his favorite superhero.
Garfield recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where Kimmel showed him the video in which the actor found out he had gotten the coveted role.
The video induced a ton of nostalgia for both viewers and Garfield, who remembered feeling in that moment that “everything just changed forever.” Indeed it did, and hopefully we will see him suit up in the role again one day.
