Andrew Garfield Says the Door Isn't Closed on Him Returning to Play Spider-Man "You Can Always Find Another Story to Tell"
It was an epic move to bring back both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield for Spider-Man: No Way Home. It was such an intensely emotional film, and fans were so happy to see our old friends come back to reprise their respective Peter Parker roles alongside the MCU’s own Tom Holland.
Now that the trio has united, fans are wondering if we might see them come together again in the coming phases. No one seems to be ruling it out, and Andrew Garfield himself commented on the possibility this week while at the Toronto International Film Festival.
When asked by Screen Rant, in the video below, if he believed there were still stories to be told for his Peter Parker, Garfield responded:
"I think it's kind of endless, what can be done with that character. Not that we should; not that we will, but you can always find another story to tell, yeah."
When asked about rumors that he'll appear in Marvel Studios' Spider-Man 4, Garfield said:
"I mean, like the internet is a big place. I think there’s a lot of people who will just say anything to get clicks. So you might have been duped, I’m afraid."
Garfield has been vocal about his love for returning to the role in No Way Home. He had as good a time as we did watching, and I think everyone would be glad to see him again.
I love his portrayal of Peter Parker, and I hope we haven’t seen the last of him. How about you? Would you like to see Andrew Garfield back in the role?
