Andrew Koji Gets Caught Up in a Wild Vegas Holiday Heist in DOUBLE TROUBLE Trailer
Las Vegas at Christmas is already a strange combination. Throw in a stolen diamond gauntlet, two runaway sisters, clueless henchmen, casino chaos, and Andrew Koji beating people up, and you’ve got the makings of a pretty entertaining holiday movie.
ESX Entertainment has released the official trailer for Double Trouble, a new Las Vegas holiday comedy that mixes a family adventure with a jewelry heist and some surprisingly big action sequences.
The story follows sisters Charlotte and Willow, played by real-life sisters Madeleine McGraw and Violet McGraw, who somehow end up caught in the middle of a major jewelry robbery while visiting Las Vegas.
Here’s the official synopsis: When two quick-witted sisters suddenly find themselves entangled in a full-blown jewelry heist in Las Vegas, they must recruit a jaded security guard, survive bumbling henchmen, and thwart the mastermind behind it, all before their parents realize they're missing.
That jaded security guard is a former MI6 operative played by Koji, and he ends up joining the sisters as they attempt to outsmart the thief responsible for stealing a valuable diamond gauntlet before Christmas.
The trailer looks like goofy holiday fun, with a lot of the action unfolding throughout the casinos, including their less glamorous hallways and back rooms. It gives the movie a different flavor than the typical Christmas comedy, especially once Koji gets involved and the fists start flying.
There are several fight scenes mixed in with all the Vegas shenanigans, which makes sense considering the filmmaker involved. Double Trouble is directed by stunt coordinator and filmmaker Shaun Paul Piccinino, whose previous directing credits include The Bloodletting, The Lackey, American Fighter, Roped, Lady Driver, Wheels of Fortune, A California Christmas, and more.
The screenplay was written by John Ducey, and the cast also features Azizi Donnelly, Jack Griffo, Jesse La Flair, and Nick Ricciardi.
There are plenty of Christmas movies about families reconnecting, finding romance, or discovering the meaning of the holidays. Double Trouble apparently decided Christmas could use more casino heists and Andrew Koji throwing punches.
ESX Presents will release Double Trouble in U.S. theaters on October 9th, 2026.
