Angela Bassett Joins GUNPOWDER MILKSHAKE

Gunpowder Milkshake has added another big name to its cast list: Angela Bassett. Bassett had a busy 2018, and it looks like she’s not slowing down. Her character is Anna May who is “one of the unassuming leaders of a massive armory.” Bassett joins Karen Gillan and Lena Headey in the film which is being directed by Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado.

“A young woman (Gillan) and her estranged mother (Headey), who are both assassins, must join forces on the run to take down a male-dominated crime syndicate they used to work for.”

Keshales and Papushado also worked with Ehud Lavski to write the screenplay for Gunpowder Milkshake which is said to start filming on June 3 and go through August 8. I’ll see if the trailers can pique my interest.
