Angelina Jolie and Christoph Waltz To Star in a Romance Drama Titled EVERY NOTE PLAYED

Angelina Jolie and Christoph Waltz are in talks to star in a new romance drama title Every Note Played, which will be an adaptation of Lisa Genova’s contemporary romance novel. The project is set up at STX Films and Michael Sucsy (13 Reasons Why, The Vow) is set to direct.

Jolie will take on the role of Karina, “the ex-wife of an accomplished concert pianist named Richard (Waltz). He has suffered many losses, including the estrangement of his daughter, when he gets diagnosed with ALS in his hands. As the disease worsens and Richard can no longer play the piano or live on his own, Karina reluctantly steps in to be his caregiver.”

It sounds like this is quite a heartwrenching story and it’s one where the talents of Jolie and Waltz will be able to shine. They are both incredible actors and I have no doubt that they’ll give powerful performances.

STXfilms Motion Picture Group chairman Adam Fogelson said in a statement:

“We’re thrilled to be bringing this exceptional filmmaking team together for this emotional, powerful, and ultimately uplifting story.”

Some of Jolie’s upcoming film projects include Marvel’s Eternals, and a fantastical drama titled Come Away, which is based on characters from Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan. As for Waltz, he will next be seen in Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch and reprises his role as Blofeld in the James Bond sequel No Time to Die.
