Animaniacs is coming back for a second season and Hulu has released a first looks clip that I think a lot of you are going to get a kick out of. The clip is inspired by the opening sequence of the classic ‘80s cartoon series Thundercats. It features a muscular Yakko, a hotdog Nunchuk-wielding Wakko, and a flower-whipping Dot in action as a parody song titled “80s Cats”plays.

The clip premiered on over the weekend at NYCC, and the fans are loving it! I had a blast watching the first season of the revival series and I’m excited for Season 2, which is set to premiere on Friday, November 5th. Here’s the synopsis:

Yakko, Wakko and Dot return with big laughs and the occasional epic takedown of authority figures in serious need of an ego check. The new season of the Emmy award-winning series is packed with enough comedy sketches, pop culture parodies, musical comedy, and self-referential antics to fill a water tower.

That cast includes Rob Paulsen as Yakko, Tress MacNeille as Dot, and Jess Harnell as Wakko. Steven Spielberg has returned to executive produce the series, alongside Sam Register, president of Warner Bros. Animation and Blue Ribbon Content. Amblin Television is producing the reboot in association with Warner Bros. Animation.

Enjoy the zany new Animaniacs Season 2 clip below and get ready for more fun with Yakko, Wacko, and Dot next month!
