Anna Kendrick Is Set to Star in Crime Thriller UNSOUND

Anna Kendrick (The Accountant, 50/50) is set to star in the upcoming film Unsound, a crime thriller from director Bharat Nalluri from a screenplay written by Matthew Ross and Christopher Edwards. Deadline reported the following description of the film and Kendrick’s character:

Kendrick will play a New England state trooper, privately struggling with irreversible hearing loss, who’s tasked with investigating the prison break of a notorious gang leader. As she digs deeper into the most dangerous case of her career, she uncovers a vast conspiracy that, coupled with her deteriorating condition, threatens to end her career — and her life.

This sounds like an interesting story, and Kendrick is a fantastic actress, so I am interested in this film. No other casting has been announced yet, but we will let you know when we hear more. Are you interested in this story so far?
