Annabeth Gish Confirms Her Return To THE X-FILES as Monica Reyes
For those of you fans of The X-Files, who are excited about the next season. You'll be happy to learn that Annabeth Gish is set to reprise her role as Monic Reyes! She announced the news herself on her Instagram page.
Gish will join Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny, and Mitch Pileggi, who have all been confirmed for the series. I really wish that Robert Patrick would come back as John Doggett, but he previously explained that he doesn't see the reason in revisiting the show.
It was revealed in Season 10 that Monica had been working with the Cigarette-Smoking Man ever since the Season 9 finale. He managed to survive the explosion that destroyed the building he was in, he made a deal with Monica that he would spare her life if she worked with him.
I loved the Season 10 revival and I'm so freakin' excited that we are getting an eleventh season! I hope this series keeps going beyond that!
