Anne Fletcher Returning to Direct HOCUS POCUS 3 at Disney+ With Jen D'Angelo Returning to Write

Earlier this week, it was announced that Disney is developing a Hocus Pocus 3 for Disney+. Now we know that the second film’s director, Anne Fletcher, and its writer, Jen D’Angelo, will be returning to make this next movie happen.

It’s currently unknown whether original stars Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker will be back again for Hocus Pocus 3, but it seems as though they would be the biggest pull for the studio in committing to make another one. It’s also unknown if other actors from the first film who skipped the sequel will maybe show up for this one. That would be a lot of fun to see them come back, but if they don’t return, I bet we will still get a fun movie. Hocus Pocus 2 was a pretty great return to the franchise after 29 years.

We will keep you posted as the news for the sequel rolls in, but for now, I’m assuming they will shoot for an October 2024 release. Are you looking forward to Hocus Pocus 3?
