Anne Rice's VAMPIRE CHRONICLES TV Series Has Landed at Hulu

It's been two years since Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles series was announced. The series is being developed by Paramount TV and Anonymous Content. Anne Rice's son, Christopher Rice, will write and executive produce the show alongside his mom.

According to THR, the series has officially been picked up by Hulu, which seems like a good home for the show. The show is said to mainly revolve around the vampire character Lestat, "from his vampiric origins to various adventures around the world."

There are eleven books in Rice's Vampire Chronicles series that the show will pull stories from. it all started with the 1976 book Interview with a Vampire, which was adapted into a film in 1984 with Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Kirsten Dunst and Antonio Banderas.

As a fan of these novels, I'mn excited to see how the series turns out. When previously talking about the project Rice expressed her excitement saying that it would be "a television series of the highest quality" and that it would be a “Game of Thrones-style faithful rendering" of the material.

Are you looking forward to this Vampire Chronicles series?
