Another Character From The MCU Will Appear in CAPTAIN MARVEL

It looks like Brie Larson's Carol Danvers will be joined by another character from the MCU in Captain Marvel. I think many of us figured that would be the case. It's fun seeing other characters from the MCU crossover into different films. If you don't want to know who this character is, don't read any further.

According to Christopher M. of Omega Underground and IGN, Samuel L. Jackson will “co-star” with Larson in Captain Marvel. Obviously, he'll be reprising his role as Nick Fury. Here's the tweet that was send out announcing the news:

Until Marvel Studios confirms this, treat this as a rumor. However, it's a rumor that isn't really that far-fetched. It would be nice to see Fury back in action!

There really isn't much known about the film's story right now. Nicole Perlman (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Meg LeFauve (Inside Out) are the writers working on the script, and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said the film would give us an origin story for the character, and that the origin story won't be the same as the one we know from the comic books.

The movie will start shooting on January 8th in Atlanta and it will be directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. Captain Marvel is scheduled to arrive in theaters on March 8th, 2019.
