ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA First Look Poster Art and MODOCK Confirmed as Villain
During Comic-Con this weekend, Marvel Studios shared the very first footage from the upcoming film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quntumania, and it was pretty spectacular! While that footage has not been released online, the studio did release an exclusive Comic-Con poster for you to check out!
This poster was created by artist Andy Park and it features Scott Lang's Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne's Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) in the multiverse with their daughter Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton) and they are all decked out in their costumes. Cassie’s purple suit is based on the designs from the comics and her superhero name is Stinger. You'll also notice that her suit sneakers instead of boots. Then, of course, there Kang (Jonathan Majors) looming in the background.
It’s going to be a lot of fun seeing a movie that is set in the Quantum Realm! There’s so much to explore and it looks like they are going to do a lot of fun things! Some of the things that the trailer we saw show is Bill Murray, which was great! It was a quick shot, but his character is in the Quantum Realm.
The trailer also confirms that MODOK is a villain in the movie! There’s a quick shot of him and he has a crazy metallic look. I always wondered what Marvel would do with this character in live-action, and now we’re going to get to see it! The look of MODOK was cool, though!
The trailer also focuses on Scott Lang bragging about saving the world and he even wrote a book about it. There’s a device in the trailer that Lang is playing around with and it opens a portal in which Cassie gets sucked into the Quantum Realm. Scott, Hope, Janet (Michelle Pfeiffer), and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) end up in the Quantum Realm as well. That’s where they meet Bill Murray’s character who seems to have had some kind of relationship with Janet.
This movie is going to be an insane and trippy ride! I’m looking forward to watching it!
